Gloria the Gopher, from CBC’s vintage “Under the Umbrella Tree” children’s series, is very happy to tell everybody that she and her friends Holly, Iggy the Iguana and Jacob Blue Jay, are already streaming on Canada Media Fund’s new channel, Encore+ on YouTube. Now from July 14 to September 22, 2018 we can meet them in person at Noreen Young’s “A Puppet Retrospective” Exhibition at Mississippi Valley Textile Museum in Almonte, Ontario, Canada.

Stunt Ventrilloquist Tim Holland: Mississippi Textile Museum

$5 per person plus admission to the museum
Master Ventriloquist Tim Holland attempts death defying stunts while arguing with himself. You can try to see if his lips are moving, but you’ll probably miss something funny or amazing. The Zany characters Tim brings to life always steal the show. Tim has been professionally entertaining for almost two decades. His performing adventures have taken him across Canada as well as internationally to venues in Europe, Asia, and Australia. Owl at Home: Rag & Bone Puppet Theatre

Whether he’s inviting Winter to sit by the fire or finding strange bumps in his bedroom, Owl is a hoot!
Rag and Bone’s puppets, accompanied by live music, make these delightful stories about soft-hearted Owl irresistible.
Watch as Owl tries to be in two places at once, or thinks of sad things in order to make a for a perfect cup of tea.

Rock the Arts performance: Mississippi Textile Museum
