As part of the re-branding on the isle of Irie, Grand Lido Negril Resort & Spa and Grand Lido Braco Resort & Spa in Jamaica will be re-named Breezes Grand Resort & Spa Negril and Breezes Resort & Spa Rio Bueno, respectively, come November 1. Both AAA Four Diamond resorts provide luxurious getaways with unique amenities including cooking classes led by the resorts’ award-winning culinary teams, holistic treatments at the full-service Blue Mahoe Spa and 24-hour gourmet room service. Also this November, Starfish Trelawny will become the Super-Inclusive Breezes Resort & Spa Trelawny. This family favorite features a rock-climbing wall, Circus Workshop and a star-shaped kiddie pool complete with waterslide. Rates start at $342 per person for four-night stays, based on double-occupancy. Active vacationers looking for an adventurous getaway will have their pick at Breezes Runaway Bay Resort, Spa & Golf Club, starting at $435 per person for four nights, based on double-occupancy. Guests can practice their swing at the resort’s golf course or get a few pointers at its complimentary golf school, have a friendly competition on the lighted tennis courts or relax in one of the many poolside cabanas.
Located on the Brazilian seacoast in Bahia, the Breezes Resort Costa do Sauipe Super-Inclusive resort offers three tennis courts, fitness center, à la carte spa facilities, a large pool with swim-up bar for adults and separate children’s pool, as well as a host of activities to keep families, couples and singles busy during their getaway. Breezes Curaçao, the only Super-Inclusive resort on the island, is continuing its resort-wide renovations. This year, 65 guestroom bathrooms received new tiling, showers and granite vanities. A new playground for kids was also built outside of the expansive, complimentary Kids Club. Breezes Bahamas on Nassau’s famous Cable Beach also received a $10 million refresher that upgraded guest rooms with new plasma TV’s, new mahogany furnishings, renovated bathrooms and soundproof balcony doors. Pastafari restaurant, offering Italian and Caribbean fare also received new furnishings and a fresh look. Rates for the four-night minimum start at $417 per person, based on double occupancy.
Further expanding the brand, SuperClubs’ second Brazilian resort, Breezes Buzios, is under construction and slated to open next year. A prime beachfront property in the “St. Tropez” of Rio, it will offer a mini-golf course, cycling paths, roller-skating rink, archery center, bowling alley and a fully appointed spa.
